Need short-term help paying for rent, utilities, & car insurance

I have never had to ask anyone for help and I can honestly state that this past year has been a rough one for me.  I going through a rough divorce and recently became unemployed.  I am a hard working individual and feel that within 3 months I will be back on my feet; however, at this point I just need funds to pay my rent, utilities, and car insurance.  I am looking for employment and believe that I will not have a problem in finding a job.  The reason why I am unemployed is simply that my recent employer encountered financial problems and has been unable to pay me my last month's wages.  I am working to recover those wages; however, the bills are due.  I need about $1,500 to pay $1,069 in rent and late fees that were due on January 1, $61 to pay the electric bill that is due on January 11, $186 to pay for car insurance, and some money for food and gas.  As I stated previously, I will get back on my feet, one day I will again be successful, and I will find ways to help other people who find themselves in the situation that I am in.  Please do not hesitate to contact me or ask me any questions.  I am also a veteren who proudly served my country as a Marine during the 1991 Gulf War.  Please help or provide assistance any way you can.  Thank you.

I have provided the website link below for the energy assistance program in your state.  I have sought help from the one in my state and they paid my utility bill for one month.

I have old excise tax and moved back to Massachusetts. I had got cancel car insurance that last a month. I can't get car insurance cause I don't have register. I need about $300 to pay my excise tax that's a decade old. And I spent $400 on my truck on repairs. Now I have a part time job which I get $300 every two weeks, spend about $100 on gas every two weeks. My car repair was the money to get my truck on the road. Now I am force to drive with no insurance and I will get in more trouble just what I need. Any suggestion where I can get help? I have nothing to sell. The truck is not worth nothing its worth what I need.

Other works the money I paid for repairs was the money for the truck to get on the road with insurance. The repairs cancelled out getting the car on the road. I have no family to help. (that's another long old story)

 

I am only asking $300 help and that will give me exactly what I need.

I just moved to madsion a month ago because my boyfriend got a good paying job that consist of us relocating from milwaukee we both had jobs i left my job and he already had left his old job so we had a hard time finding somewhere to live at first found a place my family was happy I have two kids so we was ready for the change get to madsion and boyfriend has got fired for no reason and i left my job so he was the only one working every since we have moved we have been struggling I have never been this down we dont know anybody so its all bad for my family dont know how we are gonna pay rent or lights my kids didnt have a christmas my son needs everything dont konw what to do I almost just wanna leave the stress is gonna kill me wondering is my family gonna be homeless and we have a dog to so I just dont know.thank you for listening

I am a 26 year old woman just trying to make ends meet. I have a full time and part time job and a mother of a beautiful 14 month old boy. I work very hard to provide for my son, there have been some very hard times for us lately. We have no heat, water or garbage right now the money just is not stretching and I have no one to turn too. It breaks my heart my son has to live like this, I just need some help to get me out of this hole. So I can continue to take care of him. There are so many people out there looking for help, I feel lucky just to have the roof over his head. I try my best to help everyone I can, I need some karma to come back to me. I pray everyday we can get thru this, please if anyone can help!!!!

I was looking for resources and found this. I am an elderly woman. I work full time as a CNA in a nursing home. Recently, I discovered that money had been stolen from my bank account that I had counted on to cover premiums for medical coverage. Also, I have needed to have repairs done on my car to make it reliable transportation to work. All in all I desperately need help in the amount of $750. This will be greatly appreciated!!!

My husband and I paid bills for 18 years of our marriage. Unfortunately my husband started taking too many prescription meds because of his back pain, and became addicted. I put him in a program that is keeping him for a whole year. He was on his job for 18 years, and lost it due to the meds. I need help with my rent of $1,800 and my utility bill $295.00. I need assistance only this one time then I will be caught up.

I am 46 year old single women , i have lupus and fibromaliga i receive a 939.00 disablity check . my rent is 450.00 and utlity bills due i am behind because of the deposits i had to put up they are on first month bills. can someone please help.

I don't ask for help, most of the time I help others. But I am undergoing surgery on january 18,2011 and I can't work til after the surgery. I am a caregiver and I can't left on anyone right now. I need help paying my car insuarance for january and febuary only.....thank you...and God nless you

I have never had to do anything like this before in my life.  I am scared and on the verge of being homeless.

I have several interviews this coming week, but in the meantime, all my bills are due! My roommates have disappeared on me and their #'s are no longer in service.

The bills total 2871.00, that sounds like alot but since everyone bailed on the bills and the rent, it is all left up to me now. I could possibly pay it back over time as soon as I get a job. I am not afraid of working and hate being unemployed! I am looking for a hand up NOT a hand out!

hey there im 25 a single mom of 2 a 5-6 yr old have been pretty much after i had my second child im on here today because finally after 4 years of trying to find a guy i thought i did and he moved me into a big house which rent is 1100.00 so he can be closer to his family and he left me and after i left my job in the bay area  which i supperted him cuase he got fired yah im not good at picking em i guess but anyhow thinkin it be easy to get another job so sure why not yah right but he got a job an jus lef me to cover these bils and i pay for water which isnt paid but im jus worried about a roof over my childrens head... so now here i am an i havent started working they said they hired me an my papers havent cleared yet an its been a month an i wasnt worried but now i am cuase my rent is due an i have no one to help me please please if anyone knows how i can get help where i can get it i would aprecieate it more than anything in this world other than my kids of course :)
